A Stranger On The Beach: May Contain Spoilers

Michele Campbell is a literary genius, especially when it comes to writing page-turning thrillers. Not unlike the two other thrillers of hers that I’ve read (check out my review of It’s Always The Husband), A Stranger On The Beach was a heart-racing read that I absolutely could not put down. Cover to cover I read the book in a mere four or five hours, only putting the book down to stir my pasta.

A Stranger On The Beach is one of those novels where you have no idea what’s going on, then you think you might know, then you realize you don’t… basically, until the very last page you have NO IDEA what’s really going on.

It tells the story of Caroline Stark, a put-together, affluent middle-aged woman who has a one-night-stand with the hot, young bartender 17 years her junior when her perfect life seemingly shatters. Readers are taken through a page-turning journey from both Caroline and Aiden’s perspectives.

This thriller touches on all the salacious aspects of a true mystery—love, passion, obsession—and serves readers up a twisted tale where they won’t know what hits them.

Recommended for readers looking for a gripping story with twists and turns and an ending you won’t see coming.
